If cosmopolitan Myconos is your chosen destination for the summer the beach to head for is called Paragga, where swimming costumes are optional. The rock is granite of fairly good quality with routes of between 8 and 15m. 12 short routes of difficulties between IV and VIII were put up in 1987 by Aliyiannis and Milias, who left pitons and bolts at the ends of them for climbing with a top rope. The best time of the day for climbing here is in the afternoon when the rocks are in the shade. |
