Getting there

Meteora is very close to Kalampaka and Kastraki. You can access Kalampaka from Ioannina, Thessaloniki, Athens by bus or train.

The distances are given below:

Kalampaka - Kastraki = 2 k.m.

Athens - Kalampaka = 355 k.m.

Thessaloniki - Kalampaka = 235 k.m.

Ioannina - Kalampaka = 125 k.m.

Accomodation Accommodation can be found in Kalabaka or, preferably, in the village of Kastraki, a couple of kilometres to the north, where the campsite Camping Vrachos comes recommended.
